Fuqing Tiansheng Garden and Flower Development Co., Ltd is a subsidiary invested and controlled by Fujian Tiansheng Agriculture Stock Co., Ltd. It is located on Fujian line 72.5 km section of 324 State Road, Provincial Agriculture Hi-tech Demonstration Area, Mianting village, Xincuo Town, Fuqing city. The company was founded in August, 2001, with a land area of 1078mu (about 718, 667sqm) and total investment of 35 million yuan, and it is by far the largest hi-tech agriculture industrialized enterprise in Fuzhou area with complete tree and flower varieties and fast updating speed and it integrates the special agriculture, cultivation and distribution of trees and flowers, science education and tourism. Currently, it has been awarded as “Flower Seedlings Demonstration Bases of Fujian Provincial Forestry Bureau”, “Provincial Agriculture Industrialization Key Enterprise”, “Fujian Popular Science Education Base”, “National Popular Science Education Base” and “Provincial Agriculture Tourism Demonstration Point Construction Unit”.
Corporate guiding ideology: agriculture-based, make full use of agricultural resources, promote rural economic development, improve the income of farmers, drive industrialization of agriculture with new-type industrialization, and promote scientific and technological progress, speed up the pace of innovation and set up characteristic agriculture.
Business scope: cultivation and distribution of characteristic agricultural vegetables and fruits, trees, flowers and bonsai; garden landscape design and construction; and undertake greening engineering. Leasing of pot flowers: undertake science education service and agriculture and forestry science research services; agriculture ecological sightseeing, special hotel services and industry development and management.
Development Objective: the company will develop Tiansheng’s location, brand, system and resource advantages in the future, strengthen the awareness of brand strategy, reform and innovation and capital management; and gradually build Tiansheng into the largest and strongest industrial and modern leading enterprise in agricultural industry of Fujian Province.
On January 7, 2002, president of Chinese Academy of Forestry, and chairman of the National Youth Popular Science Association, Jiang Zehui came to Garden Company to guide our work and the proposed to set up a youth popular science education base. Following this instruction, our company invested 3 million yuan to build 12 activity workshops and a large piece of production base, which accepted 120, 000 students each year and more than 800 students receive popular science education every day.
In June 2002, it was awarded as “Fujian Provincial Popular Science Education Base” by the provincial Propaganda Department and the provincial Association of Science and Technology; “Moral Education Base” and “Youth Social Practice Base” by Fuqing Municipal Government; “the Family Planning Association of Fuqing AIDS Knowledge Publicity Fuqing Project Site”; and was granted as “National Popular Science Education Base” by the Chinese Association of Science and Technology in 2005.
